Put gain-staging on autopilot.

Gain-staging is essential for a professional mix, but if you've been producing long enough, you know the truth: it's kind of a pain. That's when we start convincing ourselves gain-staging isn't really all that important.

But who are we kidding? It does matter. Proper gain-staging lets you instantly A/B your effects and know for sure whether they're genuinely improving your sound or just making things louder. It also keeps your plug-ins happy and working exactly as intended. No clipping, no erratic compression behavior, and better analog emulation.

So we started thinking: what if gain-staging could happen auto✨magically✨? Your plug-ins would always perform their best without the tedious level-matching every time you tweak an effect—or worse, forgetting it entirely and wondering why everything sounds off.

We liked the idea so much, we decided to make it real. We're calling it Atrium. It's the central spot where all your plug-ins come together to chat, sip cappuccinos, and soak up the natural sunlight in a safe, cozy indoor space. Atrium gives them that just-right environment: comfortable, protected, and perfectly balanced.

Think of Atrium as your personal mixing assistant, quietly working behind the scenes, making thousands of tiny fader moves so you don't have to. Using it couldn't be simpler:

  1. Add the Atrium plug-in to your track.
  2. Insert your effect plug-ins directly into Atrium.
  3. Let Atrium automatically manage all input/output levels, even for plug-ins without their own trim controls.

Your automations, side-chaining, and everything else will continue working exactly the same. The only difference? You won't have to constantly adjust levels anymore, so you can get back to making music.
